If your business utilizes Nowsta for employee time tracking, the Nowsta Timeclock app provides the functionality to designate a stationary device as a dedicated timeclock where personnel can clock-in for their scheduled shifts as well as unscheduled work hours.

The Timeclock feature can be deployed in various work environments such as offices, kitchens, warehouses, and other facilities to oversee the time management of hourly staff without direct managerial oversight. Additionally, establishments can install a tablet timeclock on-site for event staff members.

To prevent unauthorized clock-ins or time discrepancies, the app automatically captures an image of the employee when they clock-in or out.

Here's how it operates:

1. A manager with Tablet Manager permissions on the Nowsta platform initiates the setup process for the app.
2. The tablet can be affixed to a wall in the designated locations and configured to exclusively display the Timeclock interface.
3. When an employee is prepared to clock-in, they approach the tablet to input their phone number. The app then snaps a picture for verification purposes by supervisors.
4. The employee can select to clock-in for scheduled or unscheduled shifts, log breaks, and report tips if applicable.
5. Once the employee has completed their check-in/out process, the Timeclock is reset for the next user to commence their logging procedure.
